One organisation’s “edge” is another network’s “connection” or even centre of creativity, between scale-free networks (i.e. Facebook) and small-world networks (i.e. a neighbourhood) dependent on intimacy and proximity. We can see the power of networks all the way from Jon Snow’s cholera map to Demos’ analysis of social media through to the work by Nicolas Christakis of social networks.

What is the “edge” of your organisation?

How do you learn from the “edge” of your organisation or your communities?
